I am creative, and very musical. I find great joy in learning about new cultures and the music that goes with them. There is just something about Albanians, something I can't quite explain, that makes me want to know them better. I am very direct, and don't play games. In my experience, the most important thing in a relationship is good communication. I love the idea of folks from different cultures meeting, and learning from each other. I was married to my first husband for 15 years, until the day he died. Our relationship was a "roller coaster" like any marriage, but it was a good and stable roller coaster. We made sure the other felt loved and stable. I will accept no less of my partner, and give no less of myself, in a relationship. I am a Christian (Protestant -- Presbyterian), and my values are important to me. My partner and I don't necessarily have to be of the same faith, as long as we share the same values. After having made a lot of Muslim friends in my part of Canada, I have come to discover that Christians and Muslims share a lot of the same values, and that all the major religions are religions of peace, and it's human frailty and extremism that causes comflict, not religion itself.
